Installfest 2006 Coming
Meetings with workshops are great. Howver, the time is soon coming (in September) for everyone to jump in and get dirty (digitally speaking). The plan is to have our regularly scheduled September monthly meeting be an installfest.
If you check the calendar, September's meeting falls on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 6:00 PM. The current plan (tentative) is to go ahead and have the installfest in our regular location in room 103 of the Udvar Hazy Building on the Dixie State College campus in St. George, Utah. We'll be keeping in touch with Dixie State College (our gracious host) in the meantime to ensure that this is both possible and a good idea. If there are any changes, we'll keep you posted.
In the meantime, plan on the installfest as scheduled. We have two months (as of the posting of this announcement) to plan the event. So, if you have any ideas or requests, post them sooner (not later) so we can discuss them and get this thing planned and locked in stone well in advance.
